God Is Present in the Middle of Your Trouble

📖 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 ESV

Reflection

Sometimes we think we need God to remove the trouble before we can have peace.

But this verse reminds us that God doesn’t just promise to meet us on the other side of difficult circumstances. He is present with us right in the middle of them.

Whatever you’re facing today, you have somewhere to run. God is your refuge when life feels overwhelming, your strength when you feel weak, and your help when you don’t know what to do next.

You may not be able to change everything happening around you today, but you can choose where you place your trust.

Run to God before you run to worry. He is present, and He is enough for today.

Where do you most need to remember that God is present with you today?

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength. When life feels heavy or uncertain, remind me that You are near. Help me run to You instead of being consumed by worry, and give me the strength and peace I need for whatever today brings. In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙏
